Mini-Split Repair & Service
Mini-splits are reliable machines — until a blinking light and a cryptic error code shut a zone down. These are sophisticated inverter systems, and they deserve a technician who’s factory-trained on them, not one who “mostly does central air.”

FAQ
Mini-Split Repair — common questions
Don’t see your question? Call 862-703-4222 — a real person answers, 24/7/365.
My mini-split is blinking — what does it mean?
The blink pattern or code is the system reporting a specific fault — refrigerant, communication, sensor, or drainage among others — and it differs by brand. Note the code and call us; our techs translate it in the driveway and usually arrive with the likely part on the truck.
Why is my mini-split leaking water indoors?
Almost always a clogged condensate drain or failed condensate pump — the unit produces water as it cools and it has to go somewhere. It’s a fast fix for us, and worth doing immediately before it stains a wall or ceiling.
Why does my mini-split smell musty?
Moisture plus a dark blower wheel equals biological growth — common in units that have never had a deep clean. A proper cleaning (not a spray of air freshener) removes it at the source and noticeably improves airflow, too.
Do mini-splits need regular maintenance?
Yes — clean filters monthly yourself, and have coils, drains, and refrigerant checked annually. It keeps efficiency where you paid for it and heads off the drips and smells that account for most service calls.
