Yes — modern cold-climate models are rated to keep heating at temperatures well below zero, and NJ winters rarely get near their limits. The key is choosing a true cold-climate unit and sizing it correctly, which is exactly the part we don’t outsource to guesswork.
Heat pump vs. furnace — which is right for me?
It depends on your fuel situation and your home. Gas heat is a strong incumbent in NJ; heat pumps win on all-electric homes, additions, homes without gas service, and anywhere you want one system for both seasons.
